Conferment of the ministries of the acolyte and lectorate
In the celebration of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the ministries of the acolyte and lectorate were conferred on the seminarians of the Latin rite. His Excellency Archbishop Andrés Gabriel Ferrada Moreira, Archbishop Secretary of the Dicastery for the Clergy, conferred the ministries on this occasion. In his homily he invited us to see our vocation through the eyes of Mary, with her same goodness and dedication to everything she did. He invited us to put our hearts in God’s hands to be authentic in our dedication and to respond to God with authenticity and joy. Afterwards, the community and the guests went to the dining room to enjoy a delicious dinner and celebrate the new acolytes and readers. May the Lord continue to guide them on their journey of configuration with Christ.
