Mons. Fondong says farewell of Mater Ecclesae
Sunday, March 27. Msgr. Aloysius Fondong presided over the Eucharistic concelebration with the community of student priests, as he will travel to Cameroon on Thursday the 31st for his episcopal ordination, which will take place in Mamfe on May 5. In his homily, Fr. Paul Remjika, dean of student priests, thanked Bishop Fondong for his witness during these three years at Mater Ecclesiae and commented on the readings for the Fourth Sunday of Lent, with the idea of “coming home.” At the end, Bishop Fondong gave his heartfelt thanks to the community and the Mater Ecclesiae, saying that this will continue to be his home when he returns to Rome.
